There are strengths and weaknesses to every star sign—good parts and bad. The passion of a Leo can become violence, the love of a Pisces can become obsession, and the organized nature of a Virgo can become brutal calculation. But do the stars determine how easily someone can turn into a cold-blooded serial killer?
Most of us know that, logically, horoscopes are a mere guideline to our personalities based on the day we were born. Just as there is the potential for kindness in every zodiac sign, there is the potential for evil, too. So of course you're not in danger of snapping and killing people just because the stars aligned a certain way.

However, statistically speaking, there is a higher concentration of killers for four particular star signs. And while Scorpio has a pretty harsh reputation in astrological circles, they aren't the ones at the top of the list.
Pisces Serial Killers
Those born under this water sign between February 19 and March 20 are often thought to be highly sensitive individuals. But for some, that empathy distorts into an intuitiveness that makes them high-functioning predators. They can draw people into their web by relating to them. And then they use their creativity—another would-be perk of the sign of The Fish—to enact their victims' untimely demise.

One thing common in Pisces serial killers is addiction—particularly in regards to drugs. They also have an affinity for the occult and distancing themselves from reality. If you're ever in the clutches of one of these killers, your best chance for survival is preying on their empathy.

Gemini Serial Killers
An air sign, Geminis, born between May 21 and June 21 are fast-thinking and highly sociable. Ruled by the planet of Mercury, they are... well, mercurial. The sign of The Twins, they tend to have a dual nature—one which might hide dark and hidden depths. While at times a Gemini might present as friendly and approachable, that can all flip on a dime.

Gemini serial killers are especially adept at leading a double life. They're good at compartmentalization and manipulation. They have a certain charm about them that makes them elite predators. And because of their ability to separate themselves, they can push guilt aside and wield deception as a means to their ends.
Notable Gemini serial killers include Jeffrey Dahmer, David Berkowitz, Kenneth Bianchi, and Samuel Little.

Virgo Serial Killers
Those born as August wanes and September begins, Virgos are aligned with the element of earth. Often referred to as the sign of The Virgin, they are often thought to be the most maternal sign. With a propensity for orderliness, planning, and logic-based strategy, they certainly know how to apply their organizational skills to caretaking. But their analytical minds also make for sharp criminals.

These detail-oriented deviants are some of the most thorough serial killers out there. If they're not masters of cleaning up a crime scene, they are skilled at showcasing the scene for the highest possible impact.
Notable Virgo serial killers include Ed Gein, Albert DeSalvo, Henry Lee Lucas, and Rodney Alcala.
Sagittarius Serial Killers
Rounding out the elements is the fire sign Sagittarius, born between November 23 and December 21. The sign of The Archer is known for its love of absolute freedom. These spirits love thrill-seeking and open roads. This makes for a really fun friend when these traits lead to road trips and spelunking. However, when these traits lean toward the darker side, it can spell out cross-country killings and dramatic criminal pursuits.

A serial killing Sagittarius has no fear of risk or consequence. They will satisfy their desire for thrills at any cost. Security and comfort mean nothing to them, and they will often shed the confines of home to strike out in multiple locales. Spontaneity is key for them—as is utter chaos.
Notable Sagittarius serial killers include Ted Bundy, Edmund Kemper, Rosemary West, and George Chapman.

In this particular study, these four signs had a definitive lead. However, all signs of the zodiac have plentiful examples of serial killers. Charles Manson, one of the most vile and notorious killers of all time, was a Scorpio. The sign of Taurus lays claim to one of the earliest and most prolific American serial killers, H.H. Holmes.

While it's strangely true that serial killers tend to have mutable star signs such as the ones noted above, that doesn't mean their birth chart is the driving cause of their violent tendencies. In fact, might a different sampling of serial killers yield different results? What about those killers which have never been caught? Might they skew the results?
It's all very interesting, but hard to make any conclusive statements one way or the other. But just to be safe, I'd watch your back if you have a Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, or Sagittarius in your life...
