From December 22nd to January 19th, Capricorn season is in full swing. Taking watch over both the end and the beginning of a new calendar year, there's a lot to celebrate under this zodiac sign.

Though, with this bunch, I wouldn't go expecting a raucous party.

Also known as the sign of the Seagoat, this earth sign is hailed for its unmatched self-discipline. You'll find no one more responsible in the zodiac than a Capricorn, and they are prepared for even the worst of situations.

Of course, this strict management of themselves and others can come off as condescending. But under their cold and steely exterior, they have a deep love for family, friends, and the arts.

When it comes to horror a Capricorn may find themselves spiraling alongside a protagonist who loses control, or find themselves looking into a dark mirror as a stern villain exerts influence.

Are you brave enough to see which one calls to you?

Here are six horror movies for Capricorns to stream tonight!

The Shining

Everyone knows this Stanley Kubrick classic based on Stephen King's book of the same name.

The Torrance family heads to the isolated Overlook Hotel when the father, Jack (Jack Nicholson), gets a job caring for the property during its winter closure. But as Jack is overcome by violence at the hands of a sinister influence, his young son, Danny (Danny Lloyd), experiences eerie visions of his own.

Capricorns place family at a very high personal value, so anything that threatens those familial bonds is sure to terrify them. They're also known for their strict self-control, and the Overlook Hotel's thrall is sure to be a nightmare for these type-A Seagoats.

Green Room

A punk rock band, the Ain't Rights, are traveling through the Pacific Northwest when one of their gigs is canceled. Luckily, a local radio host helps them schedule a new one.

Unfortunately, their new show is opening up for a neo-Nazi metal band at a skinhead bar in the woods. When the Ain't Rights witness the metal band commit a murder, they're held captive in the green room and forced to fight for their lives.

Starring greats like Anton Yelchin, Imogen Poots, Alia Shawkat, and Patrick Stewart, this film will speak to a Capricorn's unwavering resolve.

These earth signs sacrifice neither their ideals nor their personal goals in any situation, and coming face to face with radical hatred and a threat to their survival will kick their discipline into full gear.

A Quiet Place

When Earth is overrun by vicious extraterrestrials that attack at the smallest hint of sound, the Abbots—Lee (John Krasinski) and Evelyn (Emily Blunt)—struggle to raise their children in a dangerous post-apocalyptic world.

Though they have the advantage of knowing sign language due to their deaf daughter, the brutal world around them still poses many threats.

Family is the most important thing to a Capricorn, and they feel a very high responsibility to keep them safe and protected. This movie will keep this earth sign on the edge of their seat, tugging at their heartstrings.

The Witch

In New England in the 1630s, a Puritan family builds a home for themselves in the woods. But the forces of evil lurk just beyond their farm, tearing their bonds apart through witchcraft.

Yet another horror film preying on the family unit, this one features much more tenuous bonds. And daring to ask the oh-so-riveting question, “Wouldst thou like to live deliciously?”, this film tests the self-control Capricorn is so greatly known for.

Hellraiser

Based on Clive Barker's 1986 novella The Hellbound Heart, this film is a dark and bloody supernatural horror masterpiece.

After Julia (Clare Higgins) finds her lover and brother-in-law, Frank (Sean Chapman), partially resurrected, she begins to kill for him to restore him to his former glory.

Frank has escaped an extra-dimensional underworld ruled by the Cenobites, sadomasochistic creatures who have no distinction between pleasure and pain. In their hunt for Frank, teenage Kristy (Ashley Laurence) gets caught in their deadly crosshairs.

Capricorns may feel a certain kinship with the unforgiving nature of the Cenobites, particularly with Pinhead and his rigid ways.

The Addams Family

Creepy and kooky? Check. Mysterious and spooky? Double check.

That's right, the Addams family is inarguably kooky—and a definite favorite for macabre Capricorns.

While the traditions of the Addams family may not be, well, traditional, the legacy they preserve will speak to Capricorn's sentimentality.

The dichotomy of a chilly gothic exterior and vibrantly warm and unbreakable bonds beneath the surface is a perfect description of any Seagoat.

In this film, the head of an eccentric family, Gomez Addams (Raul Julia), laments his broken relationship with his estranged brother, Fester.

Meanwhile, a con artist aims to take advantage of this splintered bond, sending in an imposter to reconnect with the wealthy family.
