From October 23rd to November 21st, strap in! It's Scorpio season, baby,

Also known as the sign of the Scorpion, individuals born under this sign are known for being intense—for better or for worse. While they can be the most loyal and dedicated friends you'll ever have, they can be vicious, jealous, and manipulative if you are on their bad side.

There's nothing wrong with a big personality, though. In fact, this big personality makes them one of the zodiac signs most likely to love horror movies!

In the mood for a creepy classic or a macabre modern marvel? Here are six horror movies for Scorpios to stream tonight!

Halloween

This iconic horror movie is credited by many for inventing the modern slasher.

15 years after slaying his sister on Halloween night, unhinged killer Michael Myers (Tony Moran) escapes from a mental hospital. Young Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) captures his deadly attention as he cuts his way through Haddonfield, Illinois.

The titular holiday falls during Scorpio season, but that's not the only reason these Scorpions will love this flick.

Scorpios are some of the bravest individuals of the zodiac, harnessing that same tenacity that kept Laurie alive. Resourceful and powerful, they're a worthy slasher opponent themselves.

The Perfection

Gifted cellist Charlotte Willmore (Allison Williams) has to step away from the prestigious Bachoff musical school to care for her sick mother. As Charlotte befriends the school's new star pupil, Lizzie Wells (Logan Browning), things quickly take a sinister turn.

One of the not-so-great traits Scorpios are known for is their jealousy. The Perfection simmers with jealous tension—and unravels with shocking twists that will undoubtedly satisfy this sign which so loves sniffing out even the most brutal truths.

Beetlejuice

When a couple—Adam (Alec Baldwin) and Barbara Maitland (Geena Davis)—unexpectedly die, they find their spirits trapped in their beloved home. Unfortunately, an unbearable new family moves in to haunt their afterlife.

The teenage daughter of the new family, Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder), can see spirits herself and soon forges a bond with the Maitlands. But the spirit, Betelgeuse (Michael Keaton), tasked with driving the living out of the home is more sinister than he seems.

Scorpios aren't very good at sharing—and it stands to reason that would extend beyond death for them, too. The truth is, this sign hates change, and will do anything it can to maintain life as it knows it, even if it involves some scheming.

The Village

In this psychological thriller, a small countryside village lives in constant terror of the creatures that live in the woods surrounding them. As illness and injury befall the people of the village, people begin to wonder if it's best to venture beyond the woods for help.

Staying out of the woods is supposed to protect them from the creatures. But what is the cost of isolation?

Without giving too much away about this film, I'll just say that there are a lot of dark secrets. The twists and turns in this film are tailor-made for a Scorpio personality.

The Conjuring

Inspired by real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, this film portrays the infamous case of the Perron family

In 1971, Roger (Ron Livingston) and Carolyn Perron (Lili Taylor)—along with their five daughters—move into an old farmhouse in Rhode Island. As bizarre and terrifying incidents begin to unfold, it's clear that there is a dark and malevolent presence in the home.

The Warrens (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) come in to investigate, determined to free this family from their suffering.

With a place high on the list of Rotten Tomatoes's “Scariest Horror Movies Ever,” The Conjuring may be a movie that requires the bravery of a Scorpio to watch.

Beyond that, as a water sign, Scorpios have a sensitivity to them that lends to a connection to the supernatural world. On the other hand, the Warrens are widely regarded as con artists in real life, and their scams could come right out of a Scorpio's manipulative playbook…

The Thing

Based on the 1938 John W. Campbell Jr. novella Who Goes There?, this film follows a group of researchers in Antarctica.

Way out in the middle of nowhere, these American researchers come into contact with an extraterrestrial creature that can not only change its shape to look like another creature, but can intelligently imitate them and assimilate with a group.

As the group tries to sort out who among them might be the alien hunting them, paranoia keeps tensions high.

Scorpios are prone to distrust, and it doesn't take much to send them spiraling. Any Scorpio watching this film will be just as paranoid as the characters on screen.
