This past weekend I attended New York Comic Con, as has been a tradition the last four years. This year, however, I was extra excited when the convention announced it's theme for the year was “Haunted.”
The convention always pays homage to the latest in horror with panels like Blumfest, but this year it felt like there was an extra dose of fear in the air. Alongside the convention organizers, the attendees really brought their best!
Once again NYCC allowed me to host a horror cosplay meetup, and it was so exciting to see so many people passionate about the creepiest corners of media. Walking around the convention floor gave me plenty of scares, too, and I had to stop some fans for a quick picture.
From deep cuts from horror video games to dastardly villains of recent horror flicks, I was thrilled by absolutely every character I saw.
