In two short weeks, moviegoers across the country will witness the nightmare world of Pennywise in the hotly anticipated horror movie It. A lucky few, however, will experience the nightmare in person.
The IT Experience, an immersive haunted house inspired by the upcoming horror movie adaptation of Stephen King's novel, has been scaring Los Angelenos since August 14—and it will continue through September 10th.
An actor who portrays Little Georgie, the youngster snatched by Pennywise, will lead you through the creepy Neibolt House. Lucky visitors are grouped into a Losers Club of their own, with only seven people traversing the house at once. The small, intimate group makes the scares all the more impactful.
As you travel through the house, you’ll notice some sights familiar to anyone who has watched the trailer. A creepy room filled with clowns? Check. The basement into which Georgie tries to lure brother Bill? Check.
