Great news, true crime fans. Death Becomes Us, the true crime festival hosted by Brightest Young Things, was such a smash that they’ve decided to do it again–and this time, your favorite true crime experts, podcasters, and creators are coming to New York City. At the Gramercy Theater on March 20-24, you’ll be able to get up close and personal with icons like Paul Holes, the investigator who brought down the Golden State Killer, Amanda Knox, John Douglas, and Damien Echols.
Tickets are on sale today, and we can’t wait to check out the festival. Whether you get an all-access ticket that guarantees entrance to each and every show–and at about half the cost of each individual ticket–or grab tickets to the shows that garner your interest as you go, the Death Becomes Us festival is bound to keep any true crime fan spellbound.
So what’s on the docket? You’ll get a chance to hear Damien Echols, wrongly jailed for over 18 years for the murder of three boys in West Memphis, in conversation with his friend, comedian and actor Dave Hill, discussing his books, including High Magick: A Guide to the Spiritual Practices That Saved My Life on Death Row.
You can join in as the beloved podcasters of Wine & Crime discuss their favorite Forensic Files episodes–it’s going to get a bit Mystery Science Theater 3000 in there. And Paul Holes will discuss his work on the Golden State Killer case, as well as the new HLN Original Series that will focus on Holes’s work on a missing persons case that’ll keep you glued to the screen.
All this, and much, much more will be going down at the Death Becomes Us festival. Can’t wait? Grab your tickets now!
