There’s an “American Horror Story”-Themed Maze This Halloween—and It’s Terrifying

Can you survive the freaky world of American Horror Story?

AHS fans: our dark prayers have been answered. This year’s Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Orlando and Hollywood, features an American Horror Story Maze! Check out the freaky trailer:

As you can see, the attraction includes elements from three specific seasons: Murder House (season 1), Freak Show (season 4) and Hotel (season 5). With the plethora of freaky characters from those seasons—Murder House‘s Rubber Man, Doctor Montgomery, and that thing in the basement; Freak Show‘s Twisty and Mordrake; and those horrible Hotel demons—we can only imagine how terrifying this will be.

In an Entertainment Weekly interview, the creative directors/producers of Halloween Horror Nights said they wanted the American Horror Story Maze to feel like a “fever dream.” They also revealed that some of the most terrifying parts of the show have been recreated for the maze, including that scabby Mattress Man from Hotel, and the Rubber Man’s “red room” from Murder House, which was featured in the promotional art but never in the actual show.

Not a huge fan of American Horror Story? No problem. In addition to the AHS portion, the Halloween Horror Nights maze also includes terrifying elements from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Walking Dead, The Exorcist and more.

So: what do you think? Will the maze live up to the horrifying hype? Buy your tickets here, and see for yourself.
