There’s something about summer that makes us feel invincible. Maybe it’s the long days. We feel brave and bold, intoxicated by the heat and lulled by the gentle night.
By the time the sun sets, it’s hard to imagine anything lurking in the dark. When it comes to creatures of the night, it might seem like the long nights of winter is their domain.
But if there was ever a time for a creature to catch us, it’s on those warm nights, when we’re out well past our bedtime. If you’re looking for spooky stories swarming with monsters from the great beyond, look no further.
Here are nine supernatural summer horror books guaranteed to send chills down your spine.
