Last week I had the wonderful privilege of attending New York Comic Con. It wasn't my first time, but it may well have been the most fun I've had there.
From October 17th to the 20th, the Jacob Javits Convention Center was a mecca of fantasy, science fiction, horror, anime, and literature.
Brimming with energy and creativity, the schedule was full of exciting pop culture content, the show floor was a wealth of geek goodies, and the halls were packed with lovers of all things media, decked out in incredible costumes.
But you know I was most excited by the horror cosplays.
I worked with NYCC to host a horror cosplay meetup, and it was wonderful to see so many people passionate about the genre. Horror lovers were showing up in their best gore and glitz, and it was truly a sight to see.
There were so many wonderful cosplays—and far too many I wasn't able to snag a picture of.
But from cartoony creeps like Coraline and Velma to vicious villains like Ghostface and Art the Clown, I was delighted by it all.
