Think you know everything about the case made famous by the first season of Serial? Well, think again. Because HBO just dropped the trailer for The Case Against Adnan Syed.
Syed, as you Serial buffs may recall, was the subject of the smash-hit podcast's first season. In 1999, Syed was arrested and subsequently convicted for the brutal strangulation of classmate and ex-girlfriend Hae Min Lee.
The Serial podcast raised new questions about Syed's conviction and focused on his lackluster defense. This new documentary promises to take a deep dive back into the evidence, and provide viewers with “a piece of evidence that no one even know existed all these years."
Sounds titillating... and we certainly can't wait to learn what that piece of evidence is.
The Case Against Adnan Syed is scheduled to debut on March 10 and will reportedly arrive in four hour-long episodes. Can't wait another month? Check out the trailer below for a quick tease on what to expect from HBO's deep-dive into the case.
